Guidance for exchange students

We are a group of students of the Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg and we would like to make it easy for the foreign exchange students to settle during the first weeks in Germany. We are there to support you when you arrive and are not yet used to the local life, and when you don't know where to find places and resources. This website can help you in the preparation of your exchange trip, but also provide you with additional information when you are already here and need something specific.

The mentors, who guide foreign exchange students, can also find all important information and checklists on this website.

   If you desire, we can personally assign you a mentor. She or he will answer your questions with pleasure, pick you up at the airport or the train station, and help you through the administrative registrations, the organizational obstacles and other everyday problems you might encounter abroad. Please contact us early.

 Please include all the Important information in your email to us. Important points might include

• Nationality and Languages spoken.

• University you are coming from.

• Date of arrival.

• A short describtion of what you do and who you are.
